DJ Sqyttles will be throwing down a reggae-centric dubstep/drum and bass set at Night Dub on Saturday, December 12th 2009. This event will feature talent from Springfield, Tulsa and Fayetteville. I’d like to reintroduce myself, It’s Sqyttles, S-to-the-s. I’m the web dev guy for this blog and DJ of 417Sounds. I thought it would be a perfect time to discuss the progress of this cyber stuff.
Wordpress is the best PHP-based web app for blogs/cms ever.
Having a VPS like Slicehost has its ups and downs. While customizable, I had to reformat a lot because of all of the complications between the different software to communicate. There are tutorials that help, but some things still mystify me.
Wordpress plug-ins rock. It reminds me of the power that old perl apps had like NewsPro and Coranto (RIP, yo).

Time for some fisticuffs! The DJs of 417Sounds, Sketch and Plunkie, will go mano-a-mano against Johan and Francis Rizzudo of Nahoj Thrillz Productions in a merciless music fray. Each turntable titan gets 30 minutes to showcase their bellicose beats. You, the audience, gets to decide who emerges victorious and who will be fed to the lions! Teddy Clutch and Max Meh Coy shall ensure the war drums continue to beat into the early morning hours. Come out and vote for the DJ with the music theme that reigns supreme!
